Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) Policy

Scope:

At Swift Networks, we are committed to ensuring our platform, including the Swift Care app is safe, secure, and free from any content related to Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). This policy outlines our zero-tolerance approach to any and all action or activity that results in the harm and neglect of children and the measures we have in place to prevent, report, and take action against any and all such content in compliance with Google Play’s Child Safety Standards Policy and applicable laws.

Application:

This policy applies to all employees and contractors of Swift Networks and overrules all previous versions. The policy also applies to clients, vendors, subscribers and any other parties who are associated with Swift Networks.

Directly in line with this policy, Swift Networks’ Executive and leadership team promotes reporting any breach of our policies, procedures and codes of conduct, and will act to ensure the safety, welfare and wellbeing of children are upheld.

1. Prohibited Content

Swift Networks is strictly against and prohibits any form of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation, including but not limited to:

  • Images, videos, or written descriptions of child sexual exploitation or abuse.
  • Any content that promotes, facilitates, or solicits harm and child sexual abuse.
  • Attempts to share, distribute, or link to CSAE content in any format.

Violation of this policy will result in immediate removal of content, immediate account suspension, and immediate reporting to law enforcement authorities as required by law.

2. To protect users and prevent CSAE content from appearing on our platform, Swift Networks implements the following preventative measures and safeguards:

  • Strict Content Moderation: Manual moderation is in place to detect and remove prohibited content.
  • User Reporting Mechanism: Users can report any suspected CSAE content within the app using our in-app reporting system or via direct email to support@swiftnetworks.com.au
  • Account Monitoring & Verification: We may implement user verification processes to reduce the risks of exploitation.
  • Regular Policy Reviews: Our CSAE policy and enforcement procedures are continuously and regularly updated to ensure compliance with laws, industry standards and best practices.

3. If any CSAE content is identified on our platform, Swift Networks will take immediate steps to remove and report the content by following the steps below:

  • Immediately remove the content.
  • Immediately suspend or ban the user account responsible.
  • Report confirmed cases to the appropriate law enforcement authorities, such as:
    • National Office for Child Safety
    • Australian Centre to Counter Child Exploitation
    • Local law enforcement agencies, as applicable
  • Cooperate fully with investigations by providing any necessary evidence.

4. Reporting Process and Actions:

  • Users can report any suspected CSAE content via the in-app reporting system.
  • Reports can also be sent to support@swiftnetworks.com.au for immediate action.
  • All reports are confidential and investigated with the highest priority by our Child Safety Contact Representative.

5. To ensure a direct line of communication for child safety concerns, Swift Networks has designated a Child Safety Contact Representative to:

  • Receive and respond to notifications regarding CSAE content from Google Play and other platforms.
  • Work directly with law enforcement agencies.
  • Ensure that our removal and reporting mechanisms remain effective.

6. Swift Networks complies with all applicable child safety laws and regulations, including but not limited to:

  • Children and Community Services ACT (2004) – Western Australia, Australia
  • Children and Young Persons Care and Protection Act (1998) – New South Wales, Australia
  • Children, Youth and Families Act (2005) – Victoria, Australia
  • Child Protection Act (1999) – Queensland, Australia
  • Children and Young People (Safety) Act (2017) – South Australia, Australia
  • Care and Protection of Children Act (2007) – Northern Territory, Australia
  • Children, Young Persons and Their Families Act (1997) – Tasmania
  • Children and Young People Act (2008) – Australian Capital Territory
  • International standards for child protection and online safety

7. Enforcement and Consequences:

  • Users found violating this policy will face immediate and permanent account suspension.
  • Legal action will be pursued where applicable.
  • To uphold the safety of children, Swift Networks reserves the right to implement any further actions necessary.
